Description of A Royal Christmas Wedding

Avery Truitt aches for true love—the kind she once shared with Prince Colin. Can she dare to hope for happily ever after, or is a fairy-tale ending beyond reach?
College volleyball star Avery Truitt has not seen her former flame, Prince Colin of Brighton Kingdom, since he suddenly pushed her away five years ago. But now, the sadness of losing her father and the joy of her sister Susanna’s pregnancy have brought Avery back to Brighton just in time for Cathedral City’s enchanting Christmas season.
Avery knows she can’t avoid seeing Colin—now the Kingdom’s most eligible bachelor—whether or not her heart is ready to relive the pain. But seeing him again might bring her the closure she needs after all this time.
When Colin finds himself at the center of a centuries-old Brighton tradition, he must decide whether to follow the path laid out before him or follow his heart to the only woman for whom he would ring the Pembroke Chapel Bell.
Can Colin convince Avery to meet him at the chapel on Christmas morning—as tradition dictates—or will Avery run back to her St. Simons home and pursue a coaching career as planned?
In the fourth installment of the Royal Wedding Series, New York Times bestselling novelist, Rachel Hauck, weaves a charming story of holiday romance as two broken hearts seek the love they once knew.

My Review of A Royal Christmas Wedding

Another great love story by Rachel Hauck!

I am so happy to that Rachel decided to write the Colin and Avery story. They had a brief romance in a previous book and I hoped they would get their happily ever after.

I love the centuries-old Brighton tradition of the bell being rung and of the man declaring his love for his special woman. I  also like how Rachel turned this tradition into a spiritual event. (really cool)

I picture Brighton as a quaint old town, maybe Swiss or Bavarian in style. (These are just my  mind pictures, may not be anything like what the author was picturing as she wrote it) I see flower boxes in the windows of all the little shops in town. Of course, all of the inhabitants of the town are super friendly. It is the perfect backdrop for Avery and Colin’s romance to unfurl.

It wouldn’t be a Rachel Hauck novel if everything was smooth sailing for the two love birds. The difficulties Colin and Avery face are some of the same things we all face. Are we going to listen to the Holy Spirit and follow the Lord’s plan for our lives or are we going to be headstrong and do what we want to do?

This is a wonderful story. I’m sure you will enjoy reading it as much as I did.

If you like a good clean love story, this is the book for you.

Available for pre-order now on Amazon or wait until October 18 when it will be released.

Enjoy!
