Description of Christmas At Dove Creek

With snow on the prairie and the stars heralding new hope, it’s the season for the lost to find their way home—and love to unite solitary hearts…

She rides like an angel and she’s a crack shot. And Lily Starr is determined to shepherd a helpless group of outcasts from Missouri to Wyoming by Christmas—including a pregnant woman whose blessed event is drawing near. So encountering handsome Thorpe Turlow along the dangerous trail is a welcome unexpected gift, for he’s as formidable as he is reserved. Besides, understanding this gentle, secretly wounded man is another challenge Lily isn’t about to resist…

After the heartbreak he’s found, Thorpe just wants to retreat to his peaceful Dove Creek ranch. But he’s never met anyone as resourceful and straightforward as Lily. Somehow, she’s reigniting his faith and giving him the courage to trust again. And if they survive the arduous trip ahead, he’ll do whatever it takes to give her a lifetime of joy and love…

My review of Christmas at Dove Creek

What a great book! I couldn’t put it down. I had to find out what Lily was going to do next. For a woman that had so many talents, she sure got herself into some trouble.

I loved the Christmas Miracle! It gave me goose-bumps. I liked the symbolism that went with the two doves.

I think it only fitting that two people who give so much of themselves to help others, find  true happiness.

I love Blue! Wouldn’t it be cool to have a wolf as a protector?

If you like stories set in the late 1800’s, wagon trains and settlers, you will like this story. The fact that the author throws in a romance or two  and gun fights with bandits is just the icing on the cake.

Give this book a try. I think you will like the story.

Oh, I do love historical fiction, and this sounds like a nice warm Christmas story. The kind you just want to curl up with on a chilly afternoon and read withhold drinking a cup of tea. I will have to check it out. Thanks!
