Description of Jack Be Quick

The prayer on her lips is JACK Be Quick.

It’s been months since ex-Navy SEAL Jack McCullen last saw his fiancée, Suz Molloy. He was on the other side of the world involved in a grueling black ops mission for Iniquus Corporation at the behest of the US government. Mission fail meant a special flight home, and an ambulance ride to the hospital where Suz should have been waiting for him.

Devastated by Jack’s last death-defying act of heroism, life quickly takes a turn for the worse for Suz. Terrorists attack the school where Suz teaches first-grade. Suz saves her students’ lives, but her own moment of heroism leads the terrorists to believe she is a CIA operative. Suz is taken hostage.

When Jack rouses from his surgery to find Suz missing, he knows something is very wrong. Led by the psychic “knowings” of his Iniquus colleague, Lynx, Jack risks everything as he desperately tries to reach Suz in time to thwart the terrorists’ plot and save her.

This time, his mission is for more than love of country; it’s for the love of his life – his heart and soul.

My Review of Jack Be Quick

What a nail biter!

This newest book by Fiona Quinn is everything I thought it would be. The characters are people I became invested in. I hoped Suz and Jack would remain together in the future, but  there were times I thought her fears would be the end of them. I can relate to her. It was interesting for me to read how Jack handled fear, and pushed through it.

The plot was intruiging. Children being kidnapped so the bad guys could influence the grandfather’s votes. The protocols Jack put in place at Suz’s school were awesome! I personally sat through teacher training each year that was ridiculous. I would have loved to have the training that Suz received, it was very effective.

The jungle camp scenes were filled with tension. Once Suz was in the jungle with the boys I kept reading till I finished the book.

If you like romantic suspense novels, this one is a must.

If you pick up a copy, please let me know what you thought of it.

Enjoy!
