Description of Movie Star Cowboy

The last thing Kelsey Adams wanted was to deal with her ex-husband Jared Martin. But when an elderly relative leaves them each fifty percent of his cattle ranch, they have to agree on how to settle the inheritance.

Kelsey wants to move her bakery business to operate from the long-time family ranch, using it as the perfect setting for her brand: Grandma Mary’s.

Jared wants to continue in the ranching business, even though his acting career will keep him from Texas for months out of the year.

Can these two find a way to make it work for both of them?

My Review of Movie Star Cowboy

What’s not  to like? A story about a movie star who also happens to be a cowboy. Sounds like a win, win to me.

The characters are very well written. I could actually feel Julia’s  feelings of inadequacy as a new wife. I didn’t understand at first why she wouldn’t want to hear Jared’s explanation about the woman answering the door at his house. At the end I got it. I can imagine it would be difficult to be married to someone that had women coming up to him all the time… Wanting autographs, wanting pictures taken with him, hugging on him and trying to kiss him. It would be especially difficult if you were young and insecure like Julia was.

I like the scenes of them working together at the ranch, their getting to know each other again. It was nice to see the range of emotions these two felt when forced to work together.

This was a short, romantic story that was very heart warming. I have not read the other books in the series, but I think I might give them a try after reading this one.

The Movie Star Cowboy will be available June 20, 2016. I hope you buy it and give it a try. Let me know what you think about it.
