Description of Nashville- Book 1 – Ready To Reach
Readers who have enjoyed the emotional stories of authors like Colleen Hoover may enjoy this live-your-dream story where “Inglath Cooper draws you in with her words and her amazing characters. It is a joy to pick up these books. There is just the right amount of love and romance with the perfect dose of reality. The dialogue is relatable and you just fall in love with the story.”
Ever thought a dream might pass you by?
Nineteen-year old CeCe Mackenzie is determined to make her dreams come true. She heads for Nashville with not much more to her name than a guitar, a Walker Hound named Hank Junior and an old car she’d inherited from her grandma called Gertrude. But when Gertrude ends up on the side of I-40 in flames, Nashville has never seemed farther away. Help arrives in the form of two Georgia football players headed for the Nashville dream as well. When Holden Ashford and Thomas Franklin stop to offer CeCe and Hank Junior a ride, fate may just give a nod to serendipity and meant to be. Because while CeCe is chasing after her dream, she might find love as well.
My review of Nashville
Inglath Coooper creates characters that I love. I really want them to succeed. I love their journey, and l love to watch and see how their journey changes them.
This week I will be reviewing the first four books in her Nashville series. These books are short, like novela length, one hundred or so pages each. I purchased the first four as a boxed set and read them over the course of a weekend.
The first book, Ready To Reach is about the three main characters trying to make a go of it in Nashville. Holden and Thomas allow CeCe to stay in an apartment they have rented. Thomas is the only one with a vehicle, so the three have to hunt for jobs that are either on bus routes, close enough to walk, or at times when the truck can be used.
The chemistry between the three and their very different personalities is what makes this book so enjoyable.
This book is currently free on Amazon. Pick up a copy and I’m sure you will want to find out more about CeCe, Holden and Thomas like I did.
